Board of Directors for Michigan Friends Center
The Michigan Friends Center is run by a volunteer Board of Directors who dedicate many hours during the year ensuring the success of MFC. They are all interested in hearing ideas and feedback about programs and your experiences at MFC.
Karen Chalmer - As someone who feels that our environment sustains us, I treasure the Friends Lake Cooperative Community as a place where living simply and valuing the wealth of the natural world are fostered. As a member of FLCC I came to appreciate the resource that Michigan Friends Center provides to the community. I think it’s up to all of us to support the things that sustain us, so here I am trying to do that.
Claire Foley has been an attender of Ann Arbor Friends Meeting since 1997 and a member of Friends Lake Cooperative Community since 1998. She served

Dale Osborn is a freelance writer by day, acoustic guitarist by night; and he also happens to be the building manager of Michigan Friends Center. A graduate of Michigan State University, Dale grew up in Grand Rapids, but now resides in the town of Chelsea with his wife Anne. Dale has been a member of Friend's Lake Community since the late 1980s, loves to travel, eat Thai food--and still has all his hair, despite the other affects with which ever-advancing age is ravaging his body and mind.
Nancy Paul is the Executive Director of Faith in Action, Inc., a local emergency support agency, and a long standing member of FLCC. She and her husband Jim raised four daughters in the Chelsea community.
